THERAPY FOR CHILDREN

Big feelings.
A little more understanding.

Ask about child therapy

Children don’t always have the words for what they’re feeling.

Therapy can offer space to explore those feelings and practice ways to manage everyday challenges. We’ll discuss your child’s needs and how parents or caregivers can support the work.

  • Recognizing and expressing emotions
  • Building coping and communication skills
  • Navigating change and everyday challenges

A parent or caregiver is welcome to make the first inquiry.

THERAPY FOR ADULTS

your own experience.

You deserve support beyond simply getting through the day.

We can explore what feels difficult, notice patterns in your thoughts and relationships, and work toward the changes that matter to you. Our work can include reflection, practical skills, and processing difficult experiences.

  • Understanding recurring thoughts and feelings
  • Working through difficult experiences
  • Building self-understanding and ways to cope

You don’t need a clearly defined problem to ask about therapy.

Let’s talk about what fits
BODY & AWARENESS

Polyvagal-informed approaches

Stress can show up as feeling on edge, disconnected, or unable to settle. Polyvagal theory offers one framework for exploring how bodily responses relate to feelings of safety and connection. We can notice these patterns and explore grounding, mindful breathing, and supportive relationships, with attention to what feels comfortable and useful for you.

In our sessionsNoticing body cues and exploring ways to feel more present.

TRUST & CONNECTION

Attachment-based approaches

Our relationships can shape how we experience trust, closeness, and asking for support. Attachment-based work explores how past and present relationships may influence the patterns you notice today. Together, we can understand protective habits with compassion, make room for your needs, and practice ways of relating that feel more secure and connected.

In our sessionsExploring relationship patterns, communicating needs, and strengthening boundaries.

TRAUMA & MEMORY

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a structured psychotherapy used to address trauma and distressing experiences. It involves preparation and, when appropriate, focusing on a memory alongside guided bilateral stimulation, such as side-to-side eye movements. We first consider your history, goals, and readiness, and develop resources for the work ahead.

In our sessionsPreparation, grounding, and carefully paced memory processing when appropriate.

COUPLES & COMMUNICATION

Gottman Method couples therapy

When conversations keep ending in frustration or distance, a thoughtful structure can help you understand what happens between you. The Gottman Method focuses on friendship, managing conflict, and creating shared meaning. Our work may explore your relationship’s strengths, recurring disagreements, and everyday opportunities to listen, reconnect, and respond to each other with greater care.

EXPRESSION & DISCOVERY

Creative & art-based approaches

Sometimes words alone don’t capture what you’re feeling. Creative expression can offer another starting point for exploring emotions, experiences, and your sense of self. Drawing, imagery, or other art-based activities may be incorporated into counseling when they fit your interests and goals. The focus is your experience and meaning; no artistic skill is needed.

In our sessionsOptional creative expression alongside conversation and reflection.

THOUGHTS & EVERYDAY LIFE

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

CBT explores how thoughts, feelings, and actions influence one another. We can identify unhelpful patterns, consider different perspectives, and practice new ways of responding. Together, we choose practical tools that relate to your goals and the situations you encounter in everyday life.

In our sessionsReflection, practical exercises, and trying out new responses.

CURIOSITY & COMPASSION

Internal Family Systems

IFS offers a way to get to know the different parts of your inner experience, including feelings and reactions that may seem to conflict. Rather than judging these parts, we can approach them with curiosity and compassion, exploring what they need and how they try to protect you.

In our sessionsMaking space for your inner experience with greater understanding.
